Donald Trump took aim at Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Monday at a campaign rally, telling attendees that she got “schlonged” in the 2008 primary race.

Trump Says Clinton Got ‘Schlonged’

Following the Democratic presidential primary debate Saturday night, Trump held a campaign event in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he made some offensive remarks about Democratic front-runner Clinton.

“She was going to beat Obama,” Trump said of Clinton. “She was going to beat — she was favored to win – and she got schlonged. She lost. She lost.”

Incidentally,  “Schlong” is a Yiddish slang term for a man’s genitals.

Not stopping there, Trump went on to make a few off-color comments about Clinton’s bathroom break during the debate that kept her from returning to the stage on time with her fellow debaters – Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley.

“I thought she gave up,” Trump said. “Where did she go? Where did Hillary go? They had to start the debate without her. Phase II,” Trump said, adding, “I know where she went. It’s disgusting. I don’t want to talk about it.”

The Clinton campaign released a short statement through its communications director Jennifer Palmieri on Twitter. “We are not responding to Trump but everyone who understands the humiliation this degrading language inflicts on all women should. #imwithher,” she wrote.

Throughout his candidacy to become the GOP nominee for president, Trump has offended multiple groups, including but not limited to women, hispanics and people of the Jewish and Muslim faiths. Despite his outrageous comments, he has continued to poll better than his Republican rivals.
