Donald Trump Says Family Won’t Join Him Working In White House If He Wins Second Term

Donald Trump announced that if he wins a second term in the 2024 election, his family will not serve with him at the White House.

“It’s too painful for the family. My family has been through hell,” he told Fox News in a recent interview.

Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner worked for Trump when he was President in 2016 as his senior advisers. Many critics accused Trump of nepotism.

Trump continued to speak specifically about his two children Eric Trump and Ivanka.

“Eric, my son, is a fine boy. You know him very well. He’s a fine young man. A good student, good everything,” he said. “Nobody has been through what my family has been through. Ivanka had a really successful line of clothing. I mean, making a fortune. When I did this, she was really – she closed it up.”

Trump’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric, are known to be his biggest supporters. They frequently post on social media and speak on other media platforms to boost Trump’s 2024 campaign.

Donald Jr. recently shared a picture that slammed President Joe Biden. The post on Instagram read, “And just like that the Biden administration is no longer interested in being tough on people in possession of an illegally obtained firearm.”

Other family members have decided to take a step back from the spotlight.

Ivanka decided not to join her father’s 2024 campaign last November and did not want to be involved in any politics.

Ivanka and Jared have been busy building a $32 million mansion in Miami that wags have dubbed “Mar-a-Lago 2.”

Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, has also rarely been seen with him. Her appearance is notably missing from his rallies, which she used to attend frequently in the 2016 election. She also has not spoken publicly about his arraignment on 37 federal criminal counts in the Mar-a-Lago documents case.
