Donald & Melania Trump Feeling ‘Mild Symptoms’ Of COVID-19, Resting At White House
After testing positive for COVID-19, both Donald and Melania Trump have started to experience the virus’s symptoms.
Lethargy is one of the early symptoms of the virus, and President Trump began to experience it on Wednesday, two days before he actually tested positive. Apparently, he fell asleep on a flight back from a Minnesota rally. The next day, he also appeared tired at a New Jersey fundraiser, a partially indoor event with hundreds of people. He attended the event even despite learning his close advisor, Hope Hicks, had tested positive. He has also been displaying cold-like symptoms since testing.
Meanwhile, Melania has not had any of her symptoms reported by witnesses, but instead elected to tweet about them.
“Thank you for the love you are sending our way,” she wrote. “I have mild symptoms but overall feeling good.”
However, because of President Trump’s handling of the virus, he and his first lady have been receiving a lot more than love from Twitter. Many users seem to find their diagnoses to be a form of justice, even flipping the president’s words back onto himself.

Others also hypothesize that, because of both Trumps’ limited display of symptoms thus far and a lack of ways to verify their condition, there is a chance the president is faking it.
Nonetheless, Mike Pence, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris have all tested negative for the virus, reassuring both Republicans and Democrats alike. Biden announced the results of his test, which people were anxiously awaiting, via a tweet which included a reminder of safe health practices.
Harris instead tweeted her well wishes towards the Trumps, announcing that she and her running mate were both hoping for their recovery.
Both Biden and Harris announce on Friday that they have tested negative for COVID-19.
