Music legend Dionne Warwick, 82, is back on tour after canceling her Illinois concert because of a medical issue with one of her legs.

The “I’ll Never Love This Way Again” singer’s concert was scheduled for June 24 at the Rivers Casino Des Plaines.

Fans of the 82-year-old singer received an email informing them of the cancellation and the refund that would ensue.

“We regret to inform you that the Dionne Warwick performance on June 24, 2023 at Rivers Casino Des Plaines has been canceled due to a medical incident,” the email stated.

“Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at another event in the future,” it concluded.

The “medical incident” was not specified in the email, but a rep for the Grammy winner said that it was a “minor issue that has been fixed.”

Her next available tour date is set for tonight, July 21 in Riverhead, New York, at the Suffolk Theater.

Warwick has remained active on social media throughout her illness, voicing support for SAG-AFTRA strike on social media.

Although Warwick is primarily known as a rhythm and blues singer, she is also known for her gospel songs. Last month, she released “I Kneel” with her son Damon Elliot and Grammy-winning gospel singer Donnie McClurkin

Earlier this year, Warwick also announced that she was singing a duet with country singer Dolly Parton. Parton penned their “Peace Like A River” duet in the 1980s and was released shortly after Warwick’s announcement.

Warwick plans to include both songs in her upcoming album, Songs of Inspiration.
