Demi Moore And Ashton Kutcher's Divorce — What's The Holdup?
It's been almost a full year since the May-December romance between Ashton Kutcher, 34, and Demi Moore, 49, fell apart last November, but that doesn't mean that they're through with each other just yet — in fact, neither Moore nor Kutcher has yet filed divorce papers, and the seemingly extreme delay could have to do with financial disagreements.
The exes are reportedly "trying to negotiate a settlement out of court and out of the public eye," a source told the New York Post. "They still haven't reached an agreement over money, because Ashton earned substantially more during the final years of their marriage, but he doesn't want to pay a large settlement."
Last year Kutcher, who was the highest-paid actor on television last year, earned approximately $24 million and started on CBS's flagship sitcom, Two and a Half Men, replacing Charlie Sheen. His income was significantly greater than Moore's, reports the Huffington Post.
Moore filed for divorce from Kutcher after reports of his infidelity surfaced during their six-year anniversary weekend. Kutcher has since been romantically linked to That 70s Show costar Mila Kunis. Moore has been seen cavorting with House's Martin Henderson and, more recently, NBA star Baron Davis, though a source claims that they are "just friends," reports the New York Post.
