DeAnna Pappas Stagliano, 'Bachelorette' Star, Expecting First Child With Husband Stephen Stagliano
DeAnna Pappas Stagliano, former contestant on The Bachelor and star of The Bachelorette, is pregnant with her first child with husband, Stephen Stagliano.
DeAnna, who just finished her first trimester, revealed yesterday that, in addition to being pregnant, the baby’s due date is Feb. 8 and the couple will soon be finding out the baby’s gender.
“We are so excited! We had been trying for almost a year; we wanted this so badly,” DeAnna told People.
DeAnna first appeared on The Bachelor in 2007, where she made it to the finals in the competition for Bachelor Brad Womack. Womack ended up rejecting both finalists, and DeAnna went on to star in her own season of The Bachelorette in 2008. At the end of her season, she became engaged to snowboarder Jesse Csincsak.

The couple planned to be married in the Bahamas on May 9, 2009, until DiAnna called off the wedding and broke up with Csincsak five months after The Bachelorette finale aired.
In a video announcing the break-up, Csincsak told fans that his ex-fiancé told him, “I love you, but I’m not in love with you.”
A year later, DeAnna was set up with her future husband by The Bachelorette contestant Michael Stagliano, who competed for Jillian Harris’ heart in season 5. Michael and Stephen are twin brothers. And, DeAnna and Stephen were married in the fall of 2011.
Yesterday the happily married couple announced they are expecting their first child and DeAnna debuted her baby bump via Twitter, posting a picture of herself cradling her expanding belly for her fans.
Molly Mesnick, fellow Bachelor alum who recently welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Bachelor Jason Mesnick, tweeted her congratulations.
As did future uncle Michael. Fans on Twitter bombarded him with congratulations; accidentally thinking he was the father-to-be.
Though DeAnna still has a ways to go in her pregnancy, the reality star is already dying to meet her baby.
“We cannot wait to make memories with this baby, love it unconditionally and to teach him or her to play soccer! We have looked forward to this moment for a very long time and we are so happy to share this exciting news with everyone,” DeAnna told Us Weekly.
