David Cassidy was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving on Friday night near Los Angeles International Airport.

David Cassisy Arrested For DUI – Again

Cassidy, 63, was pulled over by law enforcement when he was spotted taking an illegal right turn at a red light. The California Highway Patrol officer smelled alcohol in Cassidy’s rental car and arrested him on suspicion of a DUI. When Cassidy submitted to a Breathalyzer test, he blew .19 – twice the legal limit in California – reported CNN.

The Partridge Family heartthrob was released on $15,000 bail on Saturday morning, according to the Sheriff’s Inmate Information Center. He is due in court to face the DUI charge on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Cassidy's Past DUI Arrests

Cassidy was last arrested on DUI charges in August 2013. He’d been driving in upstate New York when he approached a sobriety checkpoint and neglected to shut off his high beams while nearing the officers on duty, reported TMZ. When a Breathalyzer test was administered, the actor blew a .1, .02 over the legal limit.

The first DUI arrest for Cassidy was in Florida in November 2010. After initially entering a not-guilty plea, the first-time offender opted to switch his plea to no contest. His license was subsequently suspended for six months and he had to pay a small fine and complete 50 hours of community service.

Since this latest DUI for Cassidy is his third, it’s more than likely the 70s pop star will be sentenced to some time behind bars.
