David Beckham & His Family Attend First Day Of 2023 Leagues Cup

The Beckham family turned out to attend the first day of the 2023 Leagues Cup in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

David and Victoria Beckham, along with their two youngest children (Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12), were seen sitting front row as they watched the match between Cruz Azul and Inter Miami CF at the DRV Pink Stadium. Notable faces surrounding the famous family were singer Marc Anthony and businessman Jorge Mas, who co-owns Inter Miami CF with David.

Last week, David and the Mas brothers revealed Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets as new members of Inter Miami CF.

To mark Messi’s Inter Miami debut, David took a video of the Argentine soccer player as he kicked in his first goal. That first goal then turned out to be the winning kick for his team, giving them a 2-1 victory.

As the crowd cheered for Messi and his new teammates, David was moved to tears, as seen in a video posted on Twitter.

Messi’s supporters understood David’s reaction and even praised his decision to add Messi to Inter Miami CF.

“Bro, he made the greatest decision to spark something great out of the MLS,” one supporter wrote.

“For those who truly value soccer, they’ll comprehend why he’s shedding tears – it’s a testament to joy and passion. Soccer is more than a game, it’s a way of life,” a second commented.
