Daniel Radcliffe Debuts 'The Woman In Black'
People had their doubts about Daniel Radcliffe outliving his Harry Potter fame, but he's proving his doubters wrong left and right. The Woman in Black, the new horror movie in which he stars, premiered in London on Monday night, and Radcliffe was looking dapper in his finely tailored suit while he made his way up the red carpet.
The Woman in Black has already been raising some controversy in the UK for its gruesome scenes. "This work was cut," a rep from the British Board of Film Classification said, reports the Celebrity Gossip. "The cuts were made at the request of the distributor to achieve a particular category" — the British equivalent of an MPAA rating.
In addition to radically switching genres with the new flick, Radcliffe's next project will also be a departure for him. He was just tapped to portray poet Allen Ginsberg in the upcoming film, Kill Your Darlings, which will also star Olsen sister-but-not-twin Elizabeth Olsen. The film is currently in pre-production and expected to hit theaters in 2013.
