Danica McKellar, best known for playing Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years, stars in Avril Lavigne’s latest music video and showed off her toned body.
McKellar, 38, proved she hasn’t aged much since the late 80s, early 90s sitcom went off the air. Sporting a crop top, leather miniskirt and fishnets, her ripped abs were fully on display. Among those admiring the actress’s appearance was Lavigne herself who tweeted, “Thank you @danicamckellar for acting in my video. You are beautiful and so sweet. We kicked butt! #ROCKNROLL.”
McKellar, who has been spending more time writing children’s books than acting, was thrilled to get back in front of the camera for the “Rock N Roll” music video. “Just had the best time shooting @AvrilLavigne’s new video,” she tweeted. “And she is so sweet and fun! Made me feel like a rock star. :)”
While "Rock N Roll" is clearly about Chad Kroeger, Lavigne’s second husband and Nickleback frontman, the video is slightly less grounded in reality. In addition to McKellar’s appearance, there’s also an appearance by a bear with a shark’s head and fin. Meanwhile, Lavigne totes around a half guitar-half chainsaw contraption.
