Dancing With the Stars saw Sean Lowe exit the competition last night, after receiving the fewest amounts of votes from the viewers following his Monday night routines. After a tango with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd and a jazz trio, the former The Bachelor star ended up at the bottom of the leader board with a combined score of 42.

“I’m still just a normal guy from Dallas dancing with all these stars,” Lowe said after hearing that he'd be leaving the dancing competition. “What an opportunity." Murgatryoyd was complimentary of her partner saying, “He is just the most humble, wonderful guy I could have asked for. “

The other contestants who had been at risk of elimination were Super Bowl champion Jacoby Jones and country singer Kellie Pickler – two stars who’ve consistently stayed out of the bottom three. Jones and Karina Smirnoff had received a total of 52 points for their Viennese waltz and Paso Doble trio. Pickler had earned the third highest score of Monday night with a combined score of 55. Despite receiving 10’s from both Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli for her Paso Doble, Len Goodman gave them a 7 because of Derek Hough’s choreography.

Next week, Dancing With the Stars will move into the semi-final round of competition. Twitter watchers picked the stars' dances for next week where Pickler and Hough will dance the Flamenco, Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson will do the Charleston, Zendaya Coleman and Val Chmerkovskiy will perform hip hop, Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas will take on Afro Jazz and Jones and Smirnoff will do the show’s first Lindy Hop.

Dancing With the Stars returns Monday on ABC at 8/7c.
