Former alt-right YouTuber Lauren Southern has accused influencer Andrew Tate of sexual assault.

In her self-published book released on Substack, Southern alleges that Tate assaulted her when the two met in 2018. Southern was 22 years old.

Tate is under investigation by the U.S. and Europe over alleged rape and human trafficking. When he recently returned to Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said he was not welcome in the state.

Southern describes traveling to Romania with fellow alt-right influencer Tommy Robinson to pitch a media venture to Tate. She eventually went to dinner with Tate when “things seemed off.”

She claims Tate invited her back to his compound to discuss the investment, but instead took her to a nightclub. Southern vomited despite having just one drink and one shot.

From there, Tate allegedly brought Southern back to her hotel room.

“He kissed me. I wasn’t expecting it, and I wasn’t looking for it, but I kissed him back briefly and then told him I wanted to sleep,” Southern said. “I was extraordinarily tired. He wanted to go further. I said no, very clearly, multiple times, and tried to pull his hands off me.”

She went on to say that Tate strangled her unconscious when she tried to resist. Every time she regained consciousness, he would strangle her.

“I’d prefer not to share the rest. It’s pretty obvious,” Southern said.

Tate denied the allegations on X.

“Chooses the chapter about me to release ‘for free’ to get attention so she can sell her memoirs of promiscuity,” Tate said on X. “Coincidence, I’m sure. I’m glad you admit you’re a drug addict in this post, that might explain why you forgot about all the texts you sent begging to see me again.”
