‘Dancing With The Stars’ Recap: Jana Kramer Earns Perfect Score, Amber Rose Eliminated

Last night’s episode of Dancing With the Stars had everyone talking about the hottest performance of the night – the tango with Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko.

JANA KRAMER AND GLEB WOW THE JUDGES

Last night was Latin Night on the show, now in its twenty-third season. Of the nine couples who danced, only Jana and Gleb got the judges’ perfect score of 40/40. The pair did a fiery tango to Selena Gomez‘s “Hands to Myself,” a routine that started on a bed and ended in an on-stage shower.

Coming in last place for the night was Amber Rose who, along with her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, were eliminated from the competition. They performed a sultry cha cha and received a mere 28/40.

The other seven couples were scored between 30/40 and 38/40. Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke‘s salsa garnered them 30/40, as did Terra Jolé and Sasha Farber‘s paso doblé. Their rumba got James Hinchcliffe and Shana Burgess an impressive 38/40, while the cha cha earned Marilu Henner and Derek Hough a 34/40. Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev scored a 31/40 for their samba, Calvin Johnson, Jr. and Lindsay Arnold a 37/40 for their Argentine tango, and Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy a 37/40 as well for their salsa.

The three couples in danger of elimination were Amber and Maks, Jana and Gleb, and Calvin and Lindsay, but of course it was Amber and Maks who had to go.

Guest judge of the night was rapper Pitbull, who was enthusiastic at all points, but made an awkwardly inappropriate comment to Jana about taking off her wet dress after her performance, but she handled it like a pro.
