Influencer Orla Melissa Sloan Avoids Jail Time For Stalking Premier League Stars Mason Mount, Billy Gilmour & Ben Chilwell
Social media influencer Orla Melissa Sloan has avoided jail for stalking three professional soccer players.
The 22-year-old has admitted to stalking soccer players Billy Gilmour, Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell. All three are members of the Premier League.
In a hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London, Sloan was accused of stalking and harassing three soccer professionals. She allegedly used several fake social media accounts and 21 phone numbers over the course of four months, from June 19 to October 28 last year, to stalk Mount.
During the last weeks of her stalking Sloan, she added Gilmour to her obsession as she stalked him from September 10 to October 28, and as if that weren’t enough, she also harassed Chilwell from October 20 to 29.
Mount and Sloan are said to have engaged in sexual relations in November 2020 and continued their unofficial relationship for six more months until Mount called it off. After blocking the 22-year-old’s phone number, he still kept receiving messages from her using a different number. He blocked her again and she allegedly kept using other numbers.
At one point, Sloan texted Mount, “I’m not buying food anymore so I can get more numbers. I will be faster than you,” and even referred to herself in a private Instagram message as a”Devil Baby” who can “morph at any time.”
“Miss Sloan knows roughly where I live and where I train. I’m worried as if she is unable to contact me she might turn up at my training center,” Mount wrote in his victim impact statement.

Though the stalking began with Mount, Gilmour was impacted the most. The Scottish soccer player said he was struggling to sleep and “had to take sleeping tablets” as Sloan claimed she was pregnant with his child even though they had never slept together. The central midfielder asserted that the harassment he was experiencing from Sloan affected his field performance and was concerned about the effects the rumors would have on his family and friends.
Meanwhile, Chilwell, whose house the party was held in where Mount and Sloan met, said the influencer’s actions were “erratic.”
Sloan was given a 12-week suspended prison sentence, 200 hours of “unpaid work,” a restraining order against the soccer stars and 30 days in rehab. She was also ordered to pay a total of £1,110 to the soccer players, with £500 going to Gilmour and £300 each to Mount and Chilwell.
