Bruce Willis and wife Emma Heming sent Willis’s ex, Demi Moore, a surprise birthday message on her 60th birtheday Friday.

Willis and Heming posted a photograph of both of them holding up Moore’s book with the caption, “We love you inside and out.”

The message is a play on words of Moore’s book title, Inside Out.

Moore also received congratulations from other fellow actors including Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson.

The mutual respect between Moore, Willis and Heming can be seen farther back than Friday’s sweet message.

Heming posed in a swimsuit earlier in the year that was designed by Moore.

The current and former wife of Willis have been friends for a while, in fact. The both of them are actually working very closely to help the Die Hard actor battle aphasia.

In April, it was announced that Willis was going to be retiring from acting due to his condition. Aphasia is a neurological condition that can affect speech, comprehension of language and writing. Willis is currently working with several professionals, and Heming has been helping to find the best doctors.

Rumors have been circulating that the 67-year-old actor wants to discuss his condition in an interview. The sit-down is still very possible as Heming and Moore want to speak about and share what they have experienced.

A statement was released earlier in the year by Willis’s family: “To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia.”

The Fifth Element actor has reportedly been having difficulties for some time. Willis had been using an earpiece to feed him lines during his Broadway debut Misery in 2015. Reports of problems during the filming of the 2019’s Glass have also surfaced.

Willis has not been diagnosed with dementia.
