Anthony Bourdain, CNN's 'Parts Unknown' Host & Chef, Dead At 61 In Apparent Suicide
The award-winning television personality and celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain has been cremated following his tragic suicide earlier this month.
Bourdain was cremated in France before his remains were returned to the United States on June 15.
The Parts Unknown star was found dead in his hotel room in Kayserberg, France a week prior. Close friend and fellow chef Eric Ripert was the one who discovered him after Bourdain did not show up to their planned breakfast.
Bourdain was cremated in a private service in France. Prior to his death, he was dating Asia Argento. However, since his divorce with Octavia Busia in 2016 was never finalized, she legally his next of kin. The two also have a daughter together, Ariane, who is 11.

Busia shared a photo of their daughter performing at DROM in New York City, she was seen wearing boots he bought her. She compliments Ariane for being “so strong and brave” through these difficult times.
Official funeral arrangements for Bourdain has not been made yet.
