Courtney Stodden accused Chrissy Teigen of being a cyberbully in a recent interview.

Stodden claims that Teigen sent her direct messages telling her to kill herself.

Stodden also mentioned in the interview that several celebrities insulted her and that most times, it was women who treated her badly.

“Some of the worst treatment I got was from women, and we’re not going to get anywhere if we keep holding each other back,” Stodden said.

“One of the biggest surprises is that all of the celebrities who shamed me … have not sought to apologize … the majority of love and apologies have come from reporters and also people online who tell me that they appreciate me and love me and that I’m a source of strength for them,” they said. “And that means everything to me.”

Stodden became well-known in 2011 when she married 51-year-old Doug Hutchinson at the age of 16. In March 2020, Stodden said she finalized her divorce from Hutchinson but was afraid to speak up about feeling “groomed (and) verbally abused” at the time since she was still a child.

During her 10-year marriage with Hutchinson, Stodden claims she “felt completely trapped, manipulated and at times abandoned by adults.”

Teigen apologized via a Twitter thread, saying that she used to be an “insecure, attention-seeking troll,” and that she is “ashamed and completely embarrassed at (her) behavior.” Teigen also mentions in the tweets that she reached out to Stodden privately but felt the need to apologize publicly and take accountability for her actions.
