Conrad Hilton, whose namesake is his great-grandfather hotelier Conrad Nicholas Hilton, will not be serving any jail time for his multiple probation violations. Instead, the hotel heir will spend a minimum of 90 days at a rehab center.

Conrad Hilton Sent To Rehab

Ahead of the sentencing, authorities recommended that Hilton, 21, be sent to prison for 60 days. However, the Los Angeles judge on the case rejected the suggestion, opting to spare Hilton jail time in favor of substance abuse treatment, reported Us Weekly.

Last February, Hilton was charged with assault for threatening to kill members of a British Airways flight crew in July 2014. During the flight from London to Los Angeles last July, Hilton reportedly threatened to kill flight attendants and insulted fellow passengers.

“I am going to f—ing kill you!” he said, according to a U.S. District Court criminal complaint. “I will f—ing own anyone on this flight … they are f—ing peasants.”

“I could get you all fired in five minutes. I know your boss,” Hilton also said, according to the complaint. “My father will pay this out, he has done it before. Dad paid $300,000 last time.”

Hilton also allegedly punched the plane’s bulkhead inches from a flight attendant’s face.

Hilton ultimately pled guilty to the assault charge and was subsequently sentenced to probation and community service. Since then, he has violated his probation several times. He has reportedly failed drug tests, neglected to complete three treatment programs and left the state of California without permission.

In June, Hilton was also accused of trespassing for allegedly violating a restraining order obtained by his ex-girlfriend Hunter Salomon. Incidentally, Salomon is the daughter of Rick Salomon, who costarred with his sister Paris Hilton in the infamous sex tape 1 Night in Paris.
