Comedian Rob Schneider Falsely Claims Pro Basketball Player Dikembe Mutombo Died From Covid-19 Vaccine

Rob Schneider is facing backlash after suggesting that professional basketball player Dikembe Mutombo’s recent death was the result of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Mutombo lost his battle with brain cancer on Monday at age 58.

The Hot Chick star resurfaced a 2021 X video of Mutombo calling for his followers to adhere to information from the World Health Organization about the Covid-19 vaccine.

“Rest in Peace… I’m sure this is just (another) coincidence. But I took a pass on the Jab and I’m gonna not let anyone I know (and who will Listen) get it either,” Schneider wrote.

Social media users did not take well to the post, with one urging Schneider to “stop with the propaganda.”

“You’re so vile. He had cancer,” another user commented.

Schneider has made headlines recently due to his estranged relationship with his daughter, musician Elle King. She opened up about her relationship with her father, claiming he was not present during much of her childhood.
