Upon release from the hospital on Saturday, comedian Kate Quigley released a statement on Twitter to address fans following a tragic incident that killed three of her friends from fentanyl overdoses.
Quigley thanked fans for the outpouring of support she received as well as the team of paramedics, doctors and nurses that helped her recover. Then the comedian went on to memorialize fellow comedians Fuquan “Fu” Johnson and Enrico Colangeli, as well as her friend Natalie Williamson. She ended the statement by saying “please don’t take life for granted. I did, and I never will again.”
The four victims were rushed to the hospital on Saturday morning for an overdose on cocaine that was reportedly laced with fentanyl. Quigley was the sole survivor of the incident.
