Prince Harry reportedly pitched Spotify a podcast idea where he wanted to interview Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin and Mark Zuckerberg on their childhood and the trauma they sustained growing up.

These were just some of the people the Prince wanted to interview for the show. His idea was to focus on different controversial guests and how their childhood trauma shaped them today.

Harry also pitched numerous other ideas to Spotify, which were all turned down. Several execs have described the prince as totally “clueless.”

These ideas were all shot down as their viability came into question. One of the concerns was about how Harry would get Putin to agree to an offer to talk on the podcast, particularly regarding his private life. Putin and Zuckerberg are both known to be private people who rarely give any type of interviews much less on such personal matters.

One idea was about a show focused on fatherhood, but the details of that idea were not released. Another was conversations based on societal matters with a new topic featured on each episode. Some of the proposed topics were climate change and religion, for which he would want to invite Pope Francis to be interviewed.

These unsuccessful ideas from the Prince came to light after his wife’s, Meghan Markle, podcast Archetypes was canceled by Spotify. It was announced that a second season would not be produced, despite the $20 million-plus deal they had.

The first season of the podcast was seemingly successful as it received top ratings and even was at the number one position on Spotify’s podcast rankings.

The show had 12 episodes and featured famous guest stars, including Paris Hilton, Serena Williams and Mariah Carey.
