Christina Aguilera Splits From Husband Jordan Bratman

Another star couple has called it quits: pop star Christina Aguilera and music producer husband Jordan Bratman are taking time apart.

Though divorce proceedings have not been initiated, the two are separated and trying to work things out according to Us Magazine. Aguilera, 29, and Bratman, 33, met in 2002 and married in 2005. They have one 2-year-old son, Max, together. “They were very much in love but over the last six months, it became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife," a source close to the couple explained, saying that they have been separated for months already.

The singer is currently working on the soundtrack for her film debut, Burlesque, due in theaters November 24. –AMY LEE
