Singer Christina Aguilera, 30, was arrested early Tuesday morning in West Hollywood for suspicion of public drunkenness.
The Burlesque actress' boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence, according to USA Today. Aguilera, who was a passenger in the car, was also booked by L.A. County deputies on the misdemeanor of being under the influence in public.
The pop singer has had her share of bumps in the road lately, with her high-profile divorce from music executive Jordan Bratman and her mistake singing the National Anthem at this year's Superbowl. Of the flub, she said, "I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through." —KIMBERLY STEELE
