Though there are a lot of wild rumors about The Dark Knight Rises, the planned third installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman movies starring Christian Bale, one thing is for sure. This will be the last time Bale puts on the bat suit to play Gotham's masked crusader.

"This will be the last time I'm playing Batman," he told E! Online in an interview for his upcoming feature, The Fighter. But like the excited public, that seems to be all Bale does know about the final installment of the films. "Chris will let me know what I need to know when I need to know it," he told MTV News. "It's our fourth movie together. I probably know a little bit more than some other people out there, but I think most people would be surprised at how little I do know."

Aside from the title, it has been confirmed that Inception star Tom Hardy has joined the cast. Bale doesn't really mind not knowing more. "It just hasn't been necessary yet," he said. "I know he'll give me plenty of time to prepare for whatever I need to, and I'll discover it. He's a pretty damn good filmmaker. I trust that he's going to come up with something wonderful." –AMY LEE
