Christian Bale And Cate Blanchett Film Terrence Malick's 'Knight Of Cups'

Oscar winners Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett were spotted in Venice Beach on Wednesday shooting scenes for their new movie Knight of Cups, directed by Tree of Life auteur Terrence Malick. Little is known about the film, except that in addition to Bale and Blanchett it also stars Natalie Portman and Imogen Poots. No release date has been set.

Another Bale movie, The Dark Knight Rises (maybe you've heard of it?) hits theaters on July 20. The final installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy will also mark Bale's last time to wear the famed bat suit — a fact Bale recently lamented. "You know, for all the kind of discomfort, and all the heat and the sweat and the headaches and everything from it, when you sit back and watch the movie at the end of the day you end up going, 'that's f*****g cool!'" Bale told Movies.com. "So I will. I will miss it."
