Comedian Chris Rock, who is amping up for his Total Blackout Tour coming in February, teased a special performance set with Amy Schumer and Dave Chappelle.
The three comics performed together at New York City’s Comedy Cellar on Wednesday. Rock posted a photo of the three with the caption, “Worked out tonight with Amy and Dave. Total Black tour coming soon.”
Other comedians lit up the stage that night as well, including Jerry Seinfeld, Aziz Ansari, Dave Attell, and Ryan Hamilton. Rock posted another photo of himself with Schumer, Chappelle, and Ansari, saying, “Next time you should come.”
Chappelle has also been making a comeback, having hosted SNL in November, and having three comedy standup specials steaming on Netflix.
Rock is gearing up for his first major tour in nine years. It kicks off in North Carolina on Valentine’s Day this year. In his announcement last month, Rock said he would perform “all new material.” The tour’s name recalls his pre-Oscars tweet years ago, in which he promised a “blackout.”
