Chris Pratt officially has a new fiancee.

The 39-year-old Parks & Recreation alum and star of Guardians of the Galaxy announced on Instagram Monday morning that he is engaged to author Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Schwarzenegger, 29, is the daughter of former Terminator star and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver

“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!” Pratt wrote, adding a photo of him and his new fiancee embracing while Schwarzenegger showed off her ring. “I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”

The couple have been dating publicly for less than one year, and have been fairly quiet about their relationship.

Pratt — who last year starred in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Avengers: Infinity War — was previously married to 42-year-old actress Anna Faristhe star of CBS’s Mom. The pair announced their separation in September 2017 after eight years of marriage. Faris and Pratt share a six-year-old son together. Their split appears to have been somewhat amicable, as Faris commented on her ex-husband’s engagement post about Schwarzenegger.

“I’m so happy for you both!! Congratulations!” wrote Faris.

Shortly after her split from Pratt, Faris published a book called Unqualified, in which she offered marital advice and other life tips.

Schwarzenegger is a grandniece of former President John F. Kennedy, as her mother has blood ties to the political dynasty.
