Chris Brown threatened Tyson Beckford with violence after Beckford shared a photo with Karrueche Tran, Brown’s ex, from a weekend in Las Vegas.
Brown does not seem to be moving on from his breakup with his longtime girlfriend, Tran. The two split in March after years of on-and-off dating when it was revealed that Brown had fathered a daughter with another woman. Despite his infidelities, Brown reportedly got jealous when Beckford shared a friendly photo with Tran on Instagram Saturday, May 23.
Both Beckford and Tran were hosting events in Las Vegas this weekend, and, according to reports, the two friends briefly met up and took the photo. Brown reportedly saw the photo and responded with a threatening tweet. “I’m done all this internet talking blood. Be in Vegas soon. Keep playing ima f—k ya baby momma and then whoop yo child like he mine,” Brown allegedly wrote. The tweet has since been deleted.
Beckford tried to respond to Brown, tweeting, “it’s all about fun in Vegas. Come thru papa,” but he mentioned an account not credited to Brown, so it’s unclear whether or not the singer received the message.
According to a source, Beckford had no interest in sparking a feud with Brown. “Tyson was just being playful but it seemed that Chris got jealous. He is not looking for issues with Chris at all,” a source told E! news.
Meanwhile, Brown commented on the story via Twitter on Tuesday, dismissing any rumors of a feud with Beckford. “No drama! People are really starting to make this s—t an issue. I can be a real one and say that I was wrong for even pressing an issue,” he wrote, perhaps saying that he regrets his original response to the photo.
