Cher Hits Back At Critics Of 40-Year Age Difference With New Boyfriend Alexander Edward: ‘Haters Gonna Hate!’

Romance rumors sparked online as a result of a photo of Cher and music producer Alexander Edwards holding hands outside a restaurant in West Hollywood.

Multiple paparazzi caught the couple leaving Craigs, a known hot spot for celebrities. The two wore matching black outfits. In one image, Edwards can be seen planting a kiss on Cher’s hand once they get inside a car.

Cher wore a black top with front cutouts, matching dark pants with a long coat. Edwards wore a black buttoned shirt with a slick leather jacket.

Rapper Tyga showed up casual with a grey shirt, black beanie and chain. Tyga and Edwards visited Cher at her Malibu mansion last week, which she’s is selling for $85 million.

Cher and Tyga recently posed together during New York Fashion Week at a Rick Owens event. Edwards has been dealing with a lot with the breakup with Amber Rose a year ago.

Edwards and Rose have a three-year-old child together. Rose accused Edwards of having affairs, 12 to be specific, and he later admitted to the affairs on social media.

“I know that I could stop [cheating]. I could give her a good, solid six months and just really like, deprive myself of my true nature for as long as I can take it but I don’t want to live like that,” Edwards said regarding the infidelity.

Cher has been married twice, with both ending in a divorce. She shares a son with her late husband, Sonny Bono, trans activist Chaz Bono.

The star’s second marriage was to Greg Allman, who died in 2017. Her second marriage only lasted three years, 1975 to 1978. Allman and Cher also had a son together.

Tyga, whose real name is Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, dated Kylie Jenner for a couple of years before breaking up in 2017. He has a 10-year-old son, shared between himself and Blac Chyna. Tyga and Chyna separated before they tied the knot.

Cher responded to questions from fans over social media. Some commenters seemed concerned over Edward’s past. One supporter wrote that Cher’s new rumored squeeze “has a history of cheating.”

Cher responded to the fan writing “IM IN [heart emoji] NOT BLINDED BY IT. I’m Not Defending us. Haters are Gonna Hate…”

Cher, 76, defended herself from other critics who took issue with the age difference, saying that “Love doesn’t know Math.”
