On Wednesday, Grammy-winning icon Cher, 77, was photographed with her music executive boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards, 37,  in the front row of the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week.

Cher, 77, wore a long velvet white jacket with a black embroidered design and slacks. Edwards coordinated with her, dressed in black sunglasses and a black suit with a white button-down. Throughout the show, the two were seen nuzzled up against one another.

The music industry duo met at Paris Fashion Week last year and began to date in the fall of 2022. They made headlines when they were spotted with hands interlocked in November. A few days later Cher addressed the two’s 40-year age gap in a since-deleted post to X (previously Twitter) where she wrote: “LOVE DOESN’T KNOW MATH, IT SEES ♥️♥️.”

In December, Cher appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and gushed about her relationship with Edwards. “On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous,” she admitted, “But in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous. And I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.”

Edwards gifted Cher a diamond ring last Christmas, but the two are reportedly not considering marriage.

In March, the couple made their debut on the red carpet at the Versace fashion show in Los Angeles. Cher told E! News the two had taken the next step in their relationship and planned to work together on future musical projects.

She reported that she would go to England to make two albums, which included a few songs Edwards gave her.

On Wednesday, court documents filed in late 2022 resurfaced. The documents allege that Cher hired four men to kidnap her son Elijah Blue Allman, 47. The documents were filed by Allman’s wife, Marie King, whom Allman filed for divorce from in 2021.

King, 36, alleges that Cher hired four men to remove Allman from their New York hotel room on November 30, 2022 – the date of Allman and King’s anniversary – because Allman and King wanted to reconcile their marriage after some time alone together, and Cher was concerned for her son’s safety.

King, an alt-pop anarchist musician known professionally as “Queenie,” said that one of the men confirmed for her they were hired by Cher.
