Comedian Chelsea Handler revealed she was injured on Sunday while skiing at the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort in British Columbia, Canada.

“I have a torn meniscus, two broken toes, I think,” she said on her Instagram story “One’s definitely broken, the other one might just be in a bad mood and my arm broke a tree.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, a torn meniscus is a common knee injury and while it can require surgery, it can also heal on its own.

Handler has been sharing copious amounts of photos and videos the past few months from her time on the mountain.

She has also shared videos of her wiping out or messing up on the slopes.

“I ski so many days a year and I keep falling like this! I skied into one tree today,” she said. “It’s just ridiculous. I got no respect on the mountain.”

Handler also praised her skiing guide, saying she “kicked my ass from January to March and has dragged my ass through some serious s—.”

Handler educated her followers about proper safety etiquette this year on the mountain.

“This ski season is going to be a little bit more f— up than previous seasons,” she said. “A. there’s going to be no Après. If you go skiing, do not go and mingle and slam your juice into somebody else’s mouth just because you’re excited that you went down a double black diamond, okay?”

“Get your sh— together, people. We’re going to ski and we’re going to ski safely, with double masks on and no penetration,” she said.

Handler addressed reports of her injury on Twitter, saying, “I did not have a ski accident. I’ve had many accidents over time, but I was just sharing on Instagram; not a news story. So stupid.”
