Billy Idol just found out he has a secret son – and he’s not surprised at all.

Idol revealed that his daughter, Bonnie Blue Broad, 35, took a 23andMe DNA test only to discover her long-lost stepbrother, Brant.

Idol admitted that due to his sexual history during his rock and roll prime, this news isn’t too out of the ordinary.

“The more I thought about it, I guessed there must be something like that,” he told iNews. “Because we were going around in the 80s and 70s, just having knockdown, drag-out sex with a million people you didn’t know.”

Idol shares two children with two different exes. He fathered Bonnie Blue Broad with ex Linda Mathis and Willem Wolfe Broad, 37, with ex Perri Lister.

He added, “A lot of people in the rock world got children beyond their usual relationships.”

Brant is presumed to have been conceived during Idol’s 1985 “Rebel Yell” tour. Idol also added that his son works in construction, and the two have recently become friends.

“We’re quite good friends, and I love him. He’s a nice guy,” Idol said.

In Idol’s Billy Idol Should Be Dead documentary, Bonnie also touched on her feelings about finding her brother through the ancestry test.

“My husband just surprised me with a 23andMe, with a DNA test as a Christmas present, and then a few weeks later, I get the results back on the app and open it, and I’m like, who is this? This Brant. And it says his info is like New York, 1985, looking for my biological dad. I was like, ‘What?'”

After the DNA test, Brant’s mother opened up to him about her history with Idol. He was also parented by a man whom he assumed to be his biological father.
