Celine Dion Gives Birth To Twins

After a brief hospitalization, Celine Dion delivered two fraternal baby boys on Saturday in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The singer, 42, who already has one son, Rene-Charles with husband Rene Angelil, announced her pregnancy in May after in-vitro fertilization. Though the delivery went off without a hitch, the twins will spend a few days in an incubator as they arrived prematurely. The boys were born through a C-section operation,

"It should be known worldwide that this team agrees that Celine and Rene are clearly one of the most caring and kind individuals," said physician Dr. Ronald Ackerman in a statement. "Today is not the end, but the beginning of 2 new lives." They have not yet named the twins. –AMY LEE
