Carrie Underwood Makes History At CMT Music Awards [FULL WINNERS LIST]
Carrie Underwood made history by becoming the most awarded act in Country Music Television Music Awards history, winning two awards last night and bringing her total up to 17.

The singer won female video of the year for “Church Bells” and collaborative video for “The Fighter.” “Thank you God for so many incredible blessings that we have in our lives,” she said. “We are so grateful and we are so blessed.” The singer, who is married to Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher added, “Go Preds.” The team is currently facing off against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup final.
Keith Urban was the big winner of the night, taking home four honors, including video of the year for “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” male video, collaborative video, and social media superstar of the year. “I love making music, I love making videos… Who knows how long you get to do it,” said Urban, who thanks his fans and wife Nicole Kidman, who watched from the audience. “I’m just trying to make a connection.”
The show features collaborative performances throughout the night. Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Charles Kelley, and Derek Trucks kicked off the evening with a tribute to souther rocker Gregg Allman, who passed away last month. Luke Bryan and Jason Derulo performed their winning number “Want to Want Me,” The Chainsmokers partnered with Florida Georgia Line (pre-taped), and Earth Wind & Fire paired up with Lady Antebellum for a show-stopping finale.
