Cara Delevingne’s Parents Comfort Her After Fire Destroys $7 Million L.A. Home: ‘My Heart Is Broken’
Actress and model Cara Delevingne was comforted by her parents after a devastating fire destroyed the $7 million Los Angeles property.
The fire broke out on Friday morning while Delevingne was in London for work. Ninety-four firefighters battled the flames for two hours with one sent to the hospital in fair condition. A person inside the home also suffered minor smoke inhalation. Aerial images show a majority of the home burned and collapsed from the fire.
“My heart is broken today,” Delevingne said on social media. “I cannot believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.”
Delevingne also thanked firefighters for their efforts. After the fire, Delevingne’s parents Pandora and Charles Delevingne were photographed comforting their daughter in London. Delevingne covered her face from cameras while in a vehicle with her parents.
Authorities have speculated that power lines and strong winds caused the fire. Los Angeles had been experiencing high winds at the time of the incident. However, the cause has yet to be confirmed by officials.
In 2022, Delevigne sparked serious concerns about her health with her disheveled appearance at several public events, including Burning Man.
