Caitlyn Jenner no longer has a close relationship with former step-daughters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, according to reports this weekend.
Jenner publicly revealed her transgender status on the cover of Vanity Fair in 2015 — featuring an intimate interview regarding her decision to come out.
However, the Kardashian sisters reportedly believe Jenner “threw their mom [Kris Jenner] under the bus” during the public reveal.
“All three sisters feel there should have been an ‘I’m sorry’ moment from Caitlyn,” a source told Us Weekly.
“Khloé is scorned and they never had a real resolution after their initial fight after the Vanity Fair article, nor after the fight resulting from the Howard Stern interview,” the source added, referring to Khloé’s January 2016 interview in which she remarked that Jenner was “not honest” with Kris about her transition.
“Kim is not as close to Caitlyn anymore; she was after she first transitioned but as things came out and Caitlyn stayed unapologetic, the relationship got more and more strained,” the source explained. “Because of how things played out with Bruce and with Caitlyn, she is reluctant to have a serious relationship with Caitlyn.”
Kourtney has reportedly never been close to Jenner, and the source shared she “doesn’t really get involved” in the matter regarding Jenner’s transition.
Rumors of this strained relationship between Jenner and the Kardashian sisters appeared to be true this Father’s Day — after the reality stars failed to mention or offer a shout-out to Jenner on social media.
