Caitlyn Jenner Covers Vanity Fair

Jenner made her debut as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair in a picture taken by esteemed photographer Annie Leibovitz. In the cover photo, Jenner looks glam in an ivory corseted bodysuit, her wavy brown hair flowing at her shoulders. The cover and accompanying cover story marks Jenner’s reintroduction as a woman, and the first time she’s revealed her new name, Caitlyn.

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,'” Jenner says of her transition in the Vanity Fair article.

Along with the cover photo, Vanity Fair released a behind-the-scenes video of the photoshoot with Leibovitz.

“Every day, I always had a secret. From morning till night,” Jenner says in the video. “Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. Soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I’m free.”

After the cover’s release Monday afternoon, Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner took to Instagram to congratulate Caitlyn on her official coming out, as well as to compliment her looks.

“We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it!” Khloe wrote on Instagram. “I couldn’t be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!”
