Caitlyn Jenner Will Deliver Diversity Lecture In British House Of Commons
Caitlyn Jenner, 68, reportedly will deliver Britain’s Channel 4 annual diversity lecture in the House of Commons.
This is the third lecture of the series; previously actors Idris Elba and Riz Ahmed have delivered it.
A spokesman for Channel 4 said, “The aim of the Channel 4 diversity lecture is to raise awareness and stimulate public debate about diversity issues.”
Jenner revealed in 2015 that she was transgender and became a woman, she made a documentary called I Am Cait. She was formerly Bruce Jenner, the father of Kylie and Kendall. She is a former Olympian and a transgender activist.
There has been backlash on social media after Jenner was picked to speak due to her support of President Donald Trump.
Who the hell picked Caitlyn Jenner to speak on diversity in the U.K. parliament????? She backed the most anti-LGBT/minority candidate in living memory and has the nerve to talk about diversity. Disgraceful choice from Channel 4 to speak for the Trans community

only reason I’d ever attend that flaming trash pile of a program is to tell Caitlyn Jenner she’s a total melt to her face— Georgie Spearing (@Georgie_Spearz) May 4, 2018
