Caitlyn Jenner Confirms She Had Sex Reassignment Surgery Months Ago

Caitlyn Jenner confirmed that she had her final sex reassignment surgery earlier this year.

The former Olympic athlete first announced her identity as a trans woman on TV to Diane Sawyer in early 2015, and nearly two years later, Jenner describes having her “final surgery” in January. She describes the process in her upcoming memoir The Secrets of My Life, due out on April 25. “The surgery was a success, and I feel not only wonderful but liberated,” she wrote.

The 67-year-old spoke to RadarOnline briefly about the change. “I am telling you because I believe in candor,” she said. “So all of you can stop staring. You want to know, so now you know. Which is why this is the first time, and the last time, I will ever speak of it.”

She added that her penis “has no special gifts or use for me other than what I have said before, the ability to take a whiz in the woods. I just want to have all the right parts. I am also tired of tucking the damn thing in all the time.”

On March 2015, Jenner had undergone breast augmentation and facial feminization surgery. “I am going to live authentically for the first time in my life,” she recalled. “I am going to have an enthusiasm for life that I have not had in 39 years since the Olympics, almost two thirds of my life.”
