Miley Cyrus’ older sister, Brandi Cyrus stole the show with an attention-getting red carpet appearance at Sunday’s American Music Awards.

Who Is Brandi Cyrus?

Brandi, 26, is Miley’s half sister on her mother’s side and was adopted by step-dad Billy Ray Cyrus after he married her mother, Tish Cyrus. Like her famous family members, Brandi is a performer – she plays guitar in a girl band Frank + Derol and has performed on stage with both Billy Ray and Miley.

Brandi Cyrus Works AMA Red Carpet

Brandi attended the AMAs alongside her famous little sister and her father, and walked the red carpet in a white mini-dress by Rachel Zoe and sky-high stilettos before switching sides and interviewing celebrities on the red carpet as a Buzznet contributor. On Buzznet, Brandi is a blogger who writes frequently about music and fashion. She even interviewed her little sister.

Brandi may have made a big splash on the red carpet, but her little sister, Miley, definitely earned her fair share of buzz with her show-stopping performance of “Wrecking Ball” featuring a lip-syncing cat.
