Bobbi Kristina Brown will reportedly be buried next to her mother, Whitney Houston, in New Jersey’s Fairview Cemetery on Monday, Aug. 3.

Bobbi Kristina Funeral Service Details

Brown, the daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, died Sunday, Jan. 26, at the age of 22, after spending nearly seven months in a coma. Her close friends and family will reportedly gather together in Georgia, where Bobbi Kristina lived, for a funeral service on Saturday. The service will reportedly take place at the St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta.

According to reports, Bobbi Kristina’s funeral plans may change as the date approaches, as family drama is allegedly keeping the Brown and Houston families from finding common ground. One source claimed, “Things are constantly changing.”

Tyler Perry, who has been an ally for the Houston-Brown family in their grief, is reportedly helping with the funeral arrangements. One source revealed that the private, invitation-only service will have a “Sweet 16” theme, as Bobbi Kristina never had a Sweet 16 Party or prom.

Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, released a statement on Monday, but did not comment on any funeral arrangements, saying only, “Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable.”

As Bobbi Kristina is put to rest this weekend, her fans and family are waiting for the final autopsy results to be made public. Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in a bathtub in January and suffered irreversible brain damage, but the circumstances around her death remain unclear. Police are currently investigating her death as a murder.
