Actress Blake Lively is under scrutiny on social media as another old interview resurfaces, drawing criticism for her behavior toward journalists.

The latest clip, which gained traction on TikTok, shows Lively in a 2017 interview with DP/30 promoting her film All I See Is You. In the video, Lively appears to react negatively when asked about feeling “free to try everything” in her performance.

“What does that mean?” Lively interrupts, laughing. When the interviewer clarifies his question about her willingness to experiment, referencing an earlier comment about singing, Lively responds, “I did sing in this movie. Did you see the movie? We’re gonna give you a pop quiz at the end of this.”

Social media users are divided on Lively’s conduct. Some TikTok commenters describe her behavior as “rude” and “terrorizing” toward the interviewer. Critics argue that celebrities should be more accommodating during promotional interviews.

Some fans are calling for Lively to be “canceled” for her behavior.

However, other viewers defend Lively, calling the accusations of rudeness a “reach” and suggesting that people are “forcing” a negative interpretation of the exchange.

This controversy follows closely on the heels of another resurfaced interview from 2016 with journalist Kjersti Flaa, which was described by some as a “nightmare” conversation.

The renewed interest in Lively’s past interviews comes amid rumors of tension on the set of her upcoming film It Ends With Us. Reports suggest a strained relationship between Lively and her co-star/director Justin Baldoni.

Baldoni allegedly made Lively feel “uncomfortable” about her postpartum body after the recent birth of her fourth child. Other cast members distanced themselves from Baldoni at the film’s New York City premiere.
