The futuristic dating device known as Coach from Black Mirror‘s episode “Hang the DJ” is now available on the Internet.

BLACK MIRROR RELATIONSHIP APP WILL TELL YOU WHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WILL END

Specially for Valentine’s Day, the futuristic Netflix show made available Coach, who asks you to “put your trust in the system.” The device will reveal your current relationship’s expiration date, whether it be years, days or even just minutes left. What better way to celebrate the holiday of love than by using a dark website to tell you when your love will end.

It works by sending your partner the link to coach.dating and when you both click the interface, Coach will work its magic. Theoretically, if you both click the link at the same time, that means you’ve found your “ultimate match.” The actual process, however, seems much more random. Researchers at The Verge determined that the results range from 26 minutes to 17 years, and never received the coveted “ultimate match” response.

The site allows users to download their own results into a .jpg to share with others. This isn’t the first time Black Mirror has attempted a tie-in app. In 2016, the show experimented with an app designed to rate people that you know. “Don’t you want to know what everyone thinks about you? RateMe is now available,” the Netflix UK & Ireland Twitter account rote at the time.
