Bill Maher took on his friend Roseanne Barr for her support of Donald Trump on his show Real Time Friday night.

He first congratulated Barr on the success of her show’s revival, but then said, “Now it’s 2018 and we have to talk about Trump.” Barr has voiced her support for Trump and even received a phone call from him to congratulate her on the show’s premiere. “Like it or not you are the face of Trump supporter because you really do speak for a certain kind of America who knows they are being screwed by someone, they just don’t know who,” Maher said.

The comedian reminded his “dear friend” of her previous statements about millionaires and how she believes in a “maximum wage” and that if millionaires can’t live on $100 million “then they should go to re-education camps. And if that doesn’t help, then let them be beheaded.”

“You’re not Archie Bunker, you’re Bernie Sanders!”

He stated when people talk about the show they are confused that she plays a Republican and made an analogy to it being like if Will from Will & Grace was a heterosexual.

He noted Trump’s “bait and switch” for his voters after saying he was for the working man during the campaign he has supported policies that benefit mostly the affluent.

He came to an end by offering a “realistic plot line for season two” if Trump’s “magic” doesn’t work in the future. “Wouldn’t the more realistic plot line for season two be your disillusionment from Donald Trump? There’s no shame in it.”
