No one will be left behind in the next season of Big Little Lies.
According to HBO, season two of Big Little Lies will feature all the ladies including Shailele Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, Laura Dern, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon. Meryl Streep will also join the cast as Mary Louise Wright, Celeste’s mother-in-law.

Along with this announcement, HBO released some spoilers about the upcoming season. Woodley’s character Jane Capman deals with the death of Perry (Alexander Skarsgard), the man who raped her and is the father of her son Ziggy. Kravitz’s character deals with Perry’s death on a different level, as the person that killed him.

David E. Kelly will write this season’s seven episodes based off Liana Moriary’s best-selling story, while Andrea Arnold directs. Big Little Lies is expected to return in 2019.
