Biden Signs With Hollywood Talent Agency CAA Two Weeks After Leaving The White House
Former President Joe Biden signed with the talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) two weeks after leaving the White House.
The CAA made this announcement in an Instagram post. “Former President Joe Biden has signed with CAA,” they wrote in the caption.
In the caption, the agency mentioned that they represented Biden “from 2017 to 2020 following his eight-year term as the 47th Vice President of the United States.”
During this time frame, the CAA repped the then-vice president in the publication of his memoir Promise Me, Dad (2017), a New York Times bestseller recalling the loss of his son Beau Biden to cancer and his subsequent response to the death.
It led to the 42-date American Promise book tour, which is thought to have inspired his run for the presidency against Donald Trump.
“President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs,” the agency’s co-chairman, Richard Lovett, recently declared. “His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”
During an interview with USA Today in early January, Biden stated that he believed he would have beaten Trump if he had remained the Democratic nominee in the 2024 presidential election.
Additionally, he noted that if he had been elected, he might not have completed his entire second term.
