Beyoncé took to Instagram to unveil the art for her highly anticipated 2022 album, Renaissance.
The “Crazy in Love” singer is on a shining horse with meticulously placed metal body armor. She added a caption to the post, explaining how creating this album allowed her to “find an escape during a scary time for the world.”
“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving,” Queen Bey wrote. “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking.”
She continued: “It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”
Wiggle refers to her album’s single “Break my Soul.”
The album will be released on July 29, being her first since her 2016 album Lemonade.
