Bethenny Frankel, 42, who separated from husband Jason Hoppy, 40, before Christmas, has officially filed for divorce after a two-year marriage, according to E! News.

The couple, who also have a two-year-old daughter named Bryn, announced their separation on Dec. 23. In a statement to E!. Frankel said, "We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us."

Frankel and Hoppy first met in 2009 when she was still a member of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York. Frankel's spinoff series, Bethenny Getting Married, followed them on their journey down the aisle. The couple was married at the famed Four Seasons restaurant in New York City. Next up was Bethenny Ever After, another series, which showed viewers their life as a newly-married couple as well as the birth of their daughter.

Frankel has reached out to her Twitter followers for support, especially Today host, Hoda Kotb, 48. "Time with @hodakotb is just what the doctor ordered :)," Frankel tweeted.

Bethenny also reached out to those reacting to news of her divorce by tweeting "To those of you who are being supportive: thank you. To those of you who are judging: I totally get it."
