It's been an uphill battle for Bethenny Frankel, 41, who went from being a 'real housewife' to having her own show, Bethenny Ever After, owning her own company, and being the happy wife and mother to husband Jason Hoppy and 21-month-old daughter, Bryn.

But when the reality star recently tried to expand her family and give her baby daughter a little brother or sister, Frankel lost the baby. "We were pregnant with a second baby, and at eight weeks I misscarried," she revealed on Today Monday morning before the premiere of Season 3 of her show. "That was a very emotional experience. It had a lot of different things that came with it," she said.

Though Frankel was open about the trying ordeal during the interview, she chose to keep it off her show. She is aware that her family may be limited in the future. "I'm 41, and I don't know," she said about continuing to have children. "It's not really my choice. It's not really my option. The window is closing."
