Ben Affleck Is Thrilled To Be Single After His Divorce From Jennifer Lopez

After his high-profile divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck is living his best life and loving his newfound freedom.

An inside source close to the actor shared with People that Affleck is “healthy, single and enjoying life.” They further revealed, “Ben is spending the holiday with his children and is excited to have Violet home for break.”

Affleck has been spending his new free time with his children, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, – Violet Anne, 19, Seraphina Rose, 15, and Samuel, 12. 

Affleck and Lopez were married in July 2022 after a previous engagement that went south in 2004. Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August of this year, on their two-year anniversary. The two had reportedly been estranged for the majority of the summer. However, in September, Lopez and Affleck were seen holding hands and kissing at brunch. An inside source hinted that a reconciliation between the two actors might be in the works, as they were having “lingering doubts” and “hesitation” regarding the separation. 

The insider at the time said, “J.Lo has stayed over at Ben’s place a couple of times. When it’s good, it’s really good, but when it’s bad, it’s really bad – and things are good when they are friends. If things are better between them because they’re separated, that’s a reason the divorce would go through.”

However, Lopez and Affleck are not back together, and Affleck is basking in his new bachelor lifestyle.

An insider close to Lopez reported that the actress has “had a rough year but is doing well. She’s ready for Christmas and to start the new year fresh.”
